The aim of our off road driving courses is to train users of 4×4 vehicles to a safe and professional standard of off-road driving.
Courses can be basic, advanced or tailored to an individual or organisation’s need.
1 Day Land Rover Experience Attendance Course
Suitable for any off-road vehicle, covering the basics of off-road driving. The day includes a practical session and a classroom presentation. The objective is to lead drivers towards independent and safe off-road driving.
2 Day Lantra Course
Lantra Professional 4×4 User two-day course increases the focus on health and safety and PUWER training, exploring the principles of four-wheel-drive operation in more depth and in line with Lantra guidelines. The majority of the course is practical, with limited classroom time.
This is a pass/fail course and successful students will be awarded with a Skills ID Card and Lantra certificate.
1 Day Experienced Operator Course for Recertification
This is for experienced operators requiring recertification through Lantra which is required every 5 years.
Winch Recovery
This course is designed to equip operators with essential, practical skills along with health and safety awareness to perform safe winch recoveries in most situations
Vehicle Recovery
Sometimes things do go wrong and vehicles become stranded. It is essential that operators understand how to recover them safely and cost effectively.
1-Day Level 1 Vehicle Recovery covers the principles of on-road and off-road vehicle recovery. Delegates will also learn a combination of rope and strap techniques for both self recovery and third-party vehicle recovery.
1-Day Level 2 Vehicle Recovery Course provides extensive hands-on experience of more advanced recovery techniques.
Adverse Weather Driving Course
Adverse Weather Driving courses can be arranged at any time and tailored to suit your requirements.
