Trek Days & Weekends
Off-road Driving Adventure Trek Days
Experience off-road driving in your own vehicle with expert help at hand!
Throughout the year we run a number of Adventure Trek Days. Join the experts for a fun-filled day of off-road driving in Highland Perthshire. Bring your family with you in your own 4×4 vehicle for a day of off-road driving. Learn new skills, experience new off-road routes and enjoy fabulous scenery!
The day starts at the Land Rover Experience Centre at Butterstone Loch. The morning is spent at our driving course in Dunkeld, where you can have fun on the vehicle assault course and practice your off-road skills, then the group takes a convoy to explore unknown tracks in the Perthshire countryside. We stop somewhere special for a picnic lunch then the rest of the afternoon is spent driving in the hills above Dunkeld.

Under the Stars Trek Weekend 2025
31st MAY - 1ST June
Save the date for the most exciting weekend of 2025! Land Rover Experience Scotland invites you to join us for an unforgettable adventure trek and camping weekend “Under The Stars.” Following our successful yearly events since 2022, we’re back with even more driving adventure, family fun and memorable moments. This is a weekend for all Land Rover enthusiasts – a chance to get together, drive your own car through stunning scenery, enjoy the live music campfire sessions and try your hand at all sorts of vehicle activities.
Under the Stars is open to anyone with a Land Rover, and the price is per vehicle. You will be driving your own car throughout the weekend. We would advise you to take out off-road insurance for your car. Vehicles must be taxed and fit for purpose, with good tyres, and be suitable for on-road as well as off-road driving. Side steps and body kits are not advised due to the risk of grounding out. Tow balls should be take off although this is not always practical; if so there may be a risk of grounding out.
Children are welcome, as are dogs as long as they are on-lead while outside your vehicle. Enjoy camping under the stars, or choose a local hotel or B&B if you prefer a solid roof over your head!
Matt Allen, Motoring Editor for The Scotsman, joined us for the 2023 Trek Weekend with his family, and his brilliant article really captures the spirit and fun of the event.
