All Terrain Vehicle Training
Sit-Astride and Sit-In all terrain vehicles are widely used in the UK and are a vital piece of equipment for a variety of tasks.
All Highland Offroad courses are certified through Lantra and include the following:
- Daily checks
- Safe driving techniques using a variety of terrain
- Use of multi-wheeled and tracked vehicles
- Legislation and understanding manufacturers' loading capacities
COURSES AVAILABLE
Highland Offroad offer bespoke courses in any vehicle at any suitable location. Training in your own vehicle is recommended although when necessary it is possible to hire an ATV.
SIT-ASTRIDE ATVS
– One Day Experienced Operator Course – maximum three persons
– Two Day Course: includes operating loads and trailed equipment – maximum three persons
SIT-IN ATVS
– One Day Sit-In Conventional Steer: for any ATV with conventional steering – max three persons
– One Day Skid Steer (Hydrostatic): for an ATV with alternative steering e.g. Argo – maximum three persons
YOU WILL LEARN
– How to avoid accidents
– What to do in an emergency
– How to get the best from your machine in different conditions
– The relevant legal requirements and how to meet them
