We’re excited to offer our Driver Awareness Course, specially designed to boost the on-road skills of company drivers. This course focuses on key areas like perception, hazard awareness, confidence, and overall driving ability. Whether you’re a company driver, part of a fleet, or anyone who drives for a living, this course is for you.
What’s the course about?
You’ll get hands-on experience with practical driving situations to help improve your awareness and driving skills.
Here’s what you can expect:
We’ll start with a friendly meet and greet, followed by a brief presentation. After a quick coffee break, there will be a short observation drive to establish your experience. You’ll then see a demonstration drive before getting back behind the wheel yourself during the learner drives. We’ll wrap things up with a debrief to discuss what you’ve learned.
Who should join?
If you’re a company driver, a fleet driver, or you drive for a living, this course is made for you.
What will we cover?
You’ll learn how to comply with legal requirements and practice safe driving. We’ll also cover how to choose and use the right personal protective equipment (PPE), understand the main causes of accidents, and identify the controls, systems, and components of your vehicle.
You’ll get tips on performing daily checks, identifying and reporting faults, and preparing your vehicle for use. We’ll also discuss how to assess whether your route or destination is suitable and guide you in making smart decisions by considering the situation, your vehicle and yourself as the driver.
