Keep your drivers safe and up to date with Professional Driver Training

Highland Offroad specialise in 4x4 and ATV Driver training, accredited through Lantra, BORDA and Land Rover Experience. The centre is ideally located on the edge of Dunkeld in Highland Perthshire, close to the A9 trunk road.

Having acquired many years of experience in both 4x4 and ATV training, Highland Offroad is recognised as one of the top training providers in Scotland.

Programmes are delivered to suit individual and specific business needs. Courses have been developed to the highest of standards allowing our team of trainers to use their wealth of knowledge and experience to teach all abilities in all situations.

Why Do We Need Training?

Even the most experience 4x4 and ATV riders can find themselves in hazardous and potentially dangerous situations. Serious accidents can and do occur without proper training.

Highland Offroad Professional Driver Training will give the driver the ability and confidence to perform safely, avoiding accidents while learning how to get the best out of the vehicle in any situation.

Training is suitable for users in a wide range of industries and work environments including agriculture, forestry, stables, sporting estates, outdoor shows and events, construction sites, golf clubs, local authorities, industrial sites, leisure complexes, energy resource companies and plenty more.

ATV and 4x4 Training for Professional Use

ATV training is a legal requirement. The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) require employees to provide adequate training and to ensure that ATVs are used only by employees who have received appropriate training. If you are self employed the regulations still apply.

Training is done in small groups allowing for plenty of individual attention.
Daily checks and maintenance requirements are also covered assisting operators to maximise fleet reliability and minimise total costs.
