Get closer to the ospreys with binoculars, telescopes and live video footage, and spot red squirrels, woodpeckers and other woodland birds from the viewing window. Interactive displays help bring the story of Loch of the Lowes to life and there are regular family events throughout the year.

Blair Castle
Blair Castle is a 5 star visitor attraction which lies at the heart of Atholl Estates, one of Scotland’s best known Highland estates. It is situated in Blair Atholl at the north-bound entrance to the Cairngorm National Park. Unique amongst Scottish castles, the story told here will take you from a visit by Mary Queen of Scots to the Civil War, and from the Jacobite cause to the disaster of Culloden following Bonnie Prince Charlie’s own stay in the castle. You’ll hear how the lucky inheritance of a smuggler-infested island helped turn the castle into a comfortable home, and learn how Queen Victoria’s famous stay led to the creation of Europe’s only private army, the Atholl Highlanders. There are 30 rooms on full display.
