1. Golden Eagle
The Golden Eagle is a majestic bird of prey with a broad wingspan that can reach well over two metres. They can be spotted by their distinctive white tail, though the rest of the body is dark brown. Although rare you are most likely to see the eagles in upland, open areas where they can hunt.

The Scottish wildcat is Britain’s only wild cat, many people can mistake the wildcat for a domestic cat, but upon closer inspection, you can see that the wildcat is more muscular with a thicker coat. The Scottish wildcat hunts rabbits, rats, hare, small mammals and will occasionally hunt for fish. The Scottish wildcat is an endangered species, so you’re very fortunate if you catch a glimpse of one.
